I guess most people would know what does F.Y.I mean in short form. It is used widely both on emails and also on short messages on phone. However, I was really amused by this incident

A client email my boss and complain that one of the designer is rude to her. Boss question the designer.

Boss: "What actually happen?"

Designer: "The client was rude first"

Boss: "What did the client do you?"

Designer: "The client send a rude email"

Boss: "What did he send?"

Designer: "She send an email and scold me FYI"

Boss - boss was pluzzed shaking his head with his eye brow frown

Boss: "do u knw wht's FYI mean?"

Boss - Fall from his chair immediately
